Critical Introduction to Literature

In this literary criticism course we will examine our "own" theories of living and reading, and we will discuss psychoanalytic theory, and Marxism, and Feminism, and New Criticism, and Reader-Response theory, and Structuralism, and Deconstructive theory, and New Historicism, and Queer theory, and Post-colonial theory, and we will read The Great Gatsby via the lenses of all these, and we will have fun.
