Needs: Literary, experimental, humor, mainstream, translations.  No genre fiction--science fiction, detective, young adult, confession, romance, etc.   Buys approximately 12 mss/issue.  Agented fiction 50-60%.  Published work by Joyce Carol Oates, Bobbie Ann Mason . . . published new writers within the last year.   Length: up to 8000 words.
