image: Yosemite rockfall damage

Damage from rockfall near the apron in Yosemite National Park.  A large slice (about 50m x 10m x 1m) of granitoid rock fell from near the top of the cliff - 450m above the ground.  The air blast knocked down trees over 200m from the impact site.  ca. 1996.
